Creating valuable visual marketing content for your current and potential customers can be a challenge, but don't worry. This step by step checklist will help you create valuable and actionable content that will help you achieve the desired results from your marketing efforts.

Is your Content Findable?

There's no point in creating beautiful content if no one can find it.

Make sure that your content is properly optimized for search engines like google by including alt image text, use appropriate keywords and for social media, and don't forget hashtags should really be your best friend.

It's never a bad idea to do some research on the best keywords and hashtags for your medical brand.

Is your Content Readable?

If you're anything like me, you probably hate reading content that is not condensed into 'easy to read' bullet points.

We all live busy lives and with that comes a shorter attention span.

Share your content with your audience in a way that is short, simple, easy to read and most importantly... memorable.

Use bold text for headings and bullet points that call out important messages, so that your audience will instantly understand what you're trying to communicate to them.

Is your Content Understandable?

Different mediums work for different audiences. In some cases it may be ideal to use text or graphics, but very often animation or medical video content tend to be more effective simply because they move.

Think about how much your audience actually knows about your topic, this can impact your choice on medium and delivery.

You also want to consider the context of your content, for instance, an upload on December 25th should be a lot different than an upload on July 4th.

A very important thing to remember is to create content that is no only relatable to your audience, but your content should address their problem.

Very often we get caught up in overselling our products and services, and the incredible things that we do but forget that our audience doesn't care about our content unless it directly addresses their problem.

Is your Content Actionable?

Ensure that all of your content includes a clear call-to-action somewhere within the content or even in the caption itself.

This prompts your audience to take an action. For instance, if your goal is to build your email list your call to action would say something like 'Sign up now' or 'Subscribe'.

Is your Content Shareable?

The more potential patients your reach the better!

Make sure you've included a way for your audience to share your content with others or even a call to action asking them to do so.

But first, you have to create compelling content that people would want to share, content that evokes an emotional response from your audience.
